You're on the SOR pilot
For PH site teams
From Stuart, Stuart Digital

SOR turns a site walk into an issued observation report — photos, markup, observations, PDF — without going back to the office to write it up in Word.

We're not asking you to test it. We're asking you to use it on one real site walk and tell us where it let you down. Ten minutes to get set up, one walk, then a two-minute form.

01 / Five minutes
Get SOR on your phone

SOR is free on the App Store and Google Play. No invite, no tester list. If you'd rather not install anything yet, the browser version at the bottom works on any phone or laptop.

iPhone, iPad or Android — from the store

  1. Tap the button for your phone and install SOR: Site Inspection Report like any other app.
  2. Open it. Your first report works straight away, with no account.
  3. To keep your work across phone and laptop, sign up in Settings → SOR Cloud. It's free.

No install — just open it in your browser

Same app, nothing to install, works on a laptop too. Good for a first look. You'll create a free account on first open — that's what keeps your projects and reports in your own workspace across your phone and laptop.

02 / Your first hour
Do these three things, in this order

Skip the tour. The pilot only tells us anything if the app gets used on a real walk, on a real job, with real photos.

  1. Set up one project — once. Your company name and logo, the project, who the reports go to. Five minutes, and every report after that inherits it.
    Setup guide →
  2. Do one real site walk with it. Not a demo — an actual walk you were doing anyway. Aim for 10–20 photos, mark up the ones that need it, and write the observations as you go instead of in the office after.
    Site walk guide →
  3. Issue the report to whoever normally gets it. Generate the PDF and actually send it — to the contractor, the consultant, your PM. That last step is where most site apps fall over, and it's the one we most need you to push.
    Reports & sharing guide →
Stuck at any point? Tap Help in the bar at the bottom of the app — the same three guides are in there and they work with no signal.
Try it where the signal is bad. Basements, cores, lift shafts, an unfinished podium. SOR is built to capture with no connection and sync later — if that fails on your site, it's the single most useful thing you can tell us.
03 / While you use it
What we're asking you to notice

Six things. You don't need to write them down as you go — just be aware of them, and the form at the end asks about each one.

04 / Two minutes
Then tell us — the feedback form

Mostly tick boxes. Please fill it in even if you only had a quick look — “I only got 10 minutes and here's why” is a real answer.

What a useful answer looks like

Doesn't help us

“Nice app, well done.”

“Looks good but needs work.”

Kind, but it changes nothing. We can't tell what you did, what broke, or what to fix on Monday.

Changes what we build

“40-minute walk on L8, 22 photos. Markup was fine. The PDF took three goes — it kept dropping the last two photos, so I sent it on Viber instead.”

What you did, where it broke, what you did instead. That's a fix we can make.

The short version: what you did → where it broke → what you did instead. One line each is plenty. Being blunt is doing us a favour — we'd rather hear it now than after a hundred people are using it.
05 / If something breaks
Send us four things

Don't wait for the form — message Stuart directly if the app stops you working.

Nothing you capture is shared with anyone outside this pilot. If you'd rather not use real project photos, a mock walk on any site works — just say so on the form.
